In summer 2016, Schloss Hofhegnenberg was transformed into a vibrant concert venue: the Stiletto Rock Circus brought rock classics, show elements and a festival atmosphere to the castle courtyard. Against a historic backdrop, hard guitar riffs, well-known anthems and rousing performances met an enthusiastic audience - a deliberate contrast between centuries-old architecture and modern rock culture.
The event impressively demonstrated that Schloss Hofhegnenberg is not only a place of history, but also offers space for contemporary culture. Rock im Schloss is exemplary for the opening of historical locations for new formats and emphasises the claim to keep cultural heritage alive and tangible.
